Pilot rescued after U.S. Navy fighter jet crashes off Virginia coast

The U.S. Navy says a F/A-18E Super Hornet aircraft crashed off the coast of Virginia Wednesday during a routine training flight. The pilot was rescued from the Atlantic Ocean a little less than 90 minutes after ejecting. It is the sixth F-18 the Navy has lost in the last year.
